Cross Media Publishing
In the world of today, printed editions have started losing their market share to electronic media. This process impacts the strategy of publishing business development, us having to give a reader the possibility to opt for the media he/she finds most convenient. Publishers must be ready to distribute their produce both in hard copies and on the Internet (online) or on CD-ROMs.
Publishing House’s IT Department has developed special processes and software for efficient creation of CD-ROM and online versions of our publications. Many our publications now have online versions (Franchise Catalogue, e-archive of the «Commercial Property» magazine) and are distributed on CD-ROMs (Franchise Catalogue, Advertising Agencies of Ukraine).
Online Editorial Systems
The importance of Internet-based editorial means can hardly overestimated – specifically when it comes to serious editions, catalogues or dictionaries, that are fruits of cooperative efforts of dozens of people working in different cities – or even countries.
Having studied the available national and foreign experience in that field, the Publishing House staff members developed a general online editing scenario. We developed a whole spectrum of editorial systems not only for domestic publications of our own (Franchise Catalogue), but also for printed products published by our international partners (Textilhilfsmittel-Katalog, Weinrecht Kommentar etc.). These systems have been tested by time long enough for us to testify their applicability as tools providing broader options for, and higher quality of, publisher’s work.
Online Media and CMS Systems
The number of Internet users grows each year thus increasing the importance of this media type. Recognising the importance and perspectives of the web-based information publications segment,
Publishing House’s professionals developed a
web portal about franchising in Ukraine and set up a newswire on
Commercial Property Magazine's web site. Moreover, we plan to provide with newswires other our corporate web resources, as well. We use modern CMS systems to efficiently scale and update our Internet resources and to plan and evaluate ad campaign performance, fully customising them for our work.
CRM Solutions
The quality of work with clients is one of the key priorities of the
Publishing House’s operation. We value each our advertiser, subscriber, or reader. In the same time, a considerable increase in the number of clients of the
Publishing House had a negative effect on the quality of our communication. To mitigate that, a CRM project was launched in 2006 to be fully completed in the 1Q 2007. Whether it will be a success, we leave it to your judgement, our dear customers!
